Hi friends,
I haven't posted anything in the last week and will not be posting for at least another week. I have taken a break from posting on my blog during this time.
A very close friend has fought a long hard fight with cancer and is in the end stages of this horrible, horrible disease. It simply doesn't feel right to me to post anything right now, because everything seems so unimportant to me except for my sweet friend. I am not feeling creative or inspired right now but rather sad, heartbroken, frustrated, blessed and grateful for my friendship with my friend...
I will return soon, I just need to take a short break...

ReplyDeleteI am just a reader of your blog and was very touched by your support of your dear friend. It was friends like you that helped me with my husbands courageous battle against his cancer. Those friends I appreciated every day for their help and they still help me day to day I call them my angels and I'm sure your friend sees you the in the same light. You are in my prayers

I have read your comments over and over every day and I simply cannot thank you enough for taking the time to write a note. Please continue to pray and I ask that if you can, please say a prayer for her daughter. This is the unimaginable for her and more than anyone can shoulder, especially since she lost her incredible father 5 years ago as well. It is heartbreaking. Love and hugs to all of you.
