Obsessed with Free Printables- Fall Edition

Hi friends and a Happy November to you! Can you believe that we are full swing into fall and Christmas will be upon us in about 8 weeks?? Yikes, I thought I better get cracking and do some sort of fall post before I jump right into all of the holiday fun stuff I have planned for us.

Back in July, I did a post about how I was obsessed with my recent discovery of free online printables. Some of you may remember the post of all my favorite online printables:

Obsessed with Free Online Printables

I was surprised to see that the printables post was my second highest viewed post since I started The Exchange! Evidently, I'm not the the only one obsessed with printables and I thought it would be fun to do it again with a "fall edition" of Obsessed with Free Printables.

There are so many fantastic fall printables out there just waiting for us to gobble them up {Thanksgiving pun intended} and I thought I would share my favorites with you. It's hard to highlight just a few of my favorites because there are some incredible printables out there right now and some talented people out there creating them for us. If you want (or need) to see even more printables than what I feature today, you may be interested in checking out my "Printables" Board on Pinterest found here where I have collected almost 200 fabulous links to some really fantastic free printables.

One of my favorite free fall printables available this fall are these fabulous tags and labels created by the talented Beth of the blog it is what it is:

I am so excited to use Beth's elegant printables for some of my baked goodies for my neighbors and friends for Thanksgiving.

I needed some new recipe cards this year and I found these fantastic chevron recipe cards in the awesome Tip Junkie printables library. These cards were designed by Evelyn Kate:

The cards will be perfect to include with my fall baked goodies. I also thought the cards would make a fun holiday gift in a cute package of 10 or 20 wrapped with a bow and a whisk.

Check out this beautiful gift tag that Amanda from Shindig Parties to Go designed for a wonderful fall freebie:

I am obsessed right now with printing on paper bags and I just love this beautiful smaller bag that was made by someone with online homemade soap shop called Come Home Soap. She also has a sweet blog called Candlelight:

I stumbled across the picture of the bag on Flickr and this is technically not a printable but I wanted to share it today because of the concept. All you have to do is print any image or words onto a paper bag and punch a hole and add a bow or twine. I just love the idea and I can't wait to try this! By the way, the soaps in her shop Come Home Soap look incredible as well and I think this is how she packages her soaps! I think I may try out some of these soaps for holiday gifts!

Next up are these FABULOUS free printable fall envelope project available at the fabulous blog Oh Happy Day:

Envelopes are so fun and easy to make and these are perfect for fall notes and cards!

I also found these wonderful owl printables in the Tip Junkie printable library, which were designed by the fun blog Under a Cherry Tree:

I thought these owls would be great for fall Birthdays or even on the kid's tables for Thanksgiving! So many possibilities!

I am addicted to creating labels for gifts and I love these beautiful labels created by Sissy Print that can be used for all kinds of projects and homemade canning or jar gifts:

I use mason jars all of the time for gifts during the holidays and this label is perfect for either the top or the side of the jar!

I also found this adorable leaf printable that is available on the gorgeous blog Twig & Thistle. I love the idea of adding wire and attaching to a small pumpkin for place cards:

I fell in love with the website Silverbox Creative Studio when I tracked down this wonderful free printable napkin ring that is perfect for Thanksgiving:

Be sure and take a good look around the Silverbox Creative Studio to see all of their beautiful designs. I especially love the holiday cards!

Ok, I think that will keep us busy for awhile! Remember, if you need to see even more printables, you can visit my Pinterest "Printables Board" here for a lot more printable ideas. Also, if you do not keep up with Tip Junkie's library of printables, you are really missing out! Laurie does a fantastic job of regularly posting some of the top printables available on the internet!

I hope you all have a wonderful week and please check back in the next few days as I have several projects almost ready for posting. I'm going to get started early this year with posting holiday projects to give you all plenty of time!

Thank you again as always for your comments, emails and notes! I so appreciate your encouragement and feedback!

  1. thanks for sharing this. I have to admit I have never used printables-b/c I really dont know how. Do I just downloand them & print them on my color printer? what type of paper am i suppose to use? Im sure its super simple but I have always shied away from it.

  2. Oh my gosh Amanda, you are missing out! I have found that most of the time the creators of these printables give really terrific instructions on what to do. I always keep a supply of white card stock and 8.5 x 11 large adhesive labels near my printer for whenever I want to do a printable. You can't go wrong with white card stock and large label paper, no special tricks just print and cut!
