Furniture Feature Friday #2- Gorgeous Banquette {Dixie Delights}

Welcome to Furniture Feature Friday #2, featuring Amanda with the beautiful blog Dixie Delights.








This is one of those projects that will make your jaw drop. Everything about this project is gorgeous. Amanda and her super handy husband planned, built and created this beautiful and inviting seating space in their basement. Here is the before and after picture:





To me the most amazing element here is that her husband built the banquette! What a lucky lady! Although, I'm sure he couldn't have done it without her! (Note to hubby, build me a banquette pretty please)-(note back from hubby to Cyndy, build what with a what?)..

What a great way to really maximize a space and the banquette turned out so beautiful. I know Amanda is thrilled with what she and her husband have accomplished and I am so inspired by the whole project and have already picked out my spot in the playroom to build one thanks to Amanda's inspiration.

The pillows and color combinations are amazing as well. I just LOVE the yellow, grey and white combination. So happy, warm and inviting! The yellow rosette pillows and the monogrammed pillow are store-bought but Amanda and her Mother made the others! Wow! You can find her pillow tutorial here. Take a look:
